In this session the committee debated a lot and started to write their working papers.
Delegates argued about what the focus of the aid should be, and started building coalitions. Lots of time was spent to figure out if assistance should be a voluntary contribution or a Loan taken on by UN Women. There were a lot of attempts by certain delegations to use a right of reply, but we would like to remind delegates, that this motion is only accepted as a result of an attack on the sovereignty of a nation.
Additionally the committee helped the world move towards world peace. Russia and the USA yielded speeches to each other and are now co-main submitting a Working Paper with Russia claiming itself as the protector of African nations and working together with these. The Europeans however watched this with concern and are now working on their own Working Paper. Thank you all for the fantastic session and we hope to see you next week.
