This was the first conference our founders Tao Tao and Johannes Reck visited with ETH MUN. During this time in Beijing, the idea for a travel guide app, now known as GetYourGuide was born.
The Asian International Model United Nations Conference 2007 took place in Beijing (China) on March 13th – 17th and was hosted by Beijing University. At AIMUN our delegation represented the countries Vietnam and Qatar, holding seats throughout all major committees. The conference focused on political conflicts, economic collaboration and the democratic evolution with a particular emphasize on Asian topics. ETH MUNs contribution was greatly appreciated and honored through 4 individual delegate awards, as well as the outstanding delegation award.
