The EU and the United States gave their Transatlantic Fair Trade Agreement its final (handwritten) touch, thereby establishing a complete Free Trade Area between the two Unions.

Just before Halloween, the EU quenched its thirst for blood by imposing a 35% import tariff on human and animal blood as well as a general strengthening of import standards for this commodity group.
