Last week’s session has seen Working Papers cascading from different delegations. What had initially started as a discussion about the US American Working Paper introduced the week before, the debate soon followed by the introduction of a Tunisian WP. Being very brief and limited in its content, the text nevertheless sparked many discussions across the hall. Next was the Chinese Working Paper, which soon came under fire for allegedly primarily discrediting the US American role in Afghanistan rather than presenting solutions. The debate has been suspended after Niger put on the floor its very own Working Paper, which has been accepted as a Draft Resolution with an overwhelming majority.
